Another Mother's Day card...

Hi Friends!

Here is another Mother's Day card.  I made a 3D Hydrangea flower from Penny Duncan Creations.  You can find her .svg file here at her Etsy Store.  Here is her Youtube link where you can find her tutorial.  I used the crumpled up piece of tissue for my center.  I love Penny's .svg files and tutorials.

 I wasn't sure how many petals I was
going to need for the flower and made to much.  :)
The extras I just scattered around the card.   

I cut out on the blue background card stock and then inked
the edges with a darker blue ink and purple.
I like the life like look of the petals.  :) 

I made it a easel card.

Kristine's Bridal Shower...

Hello Friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful day today.  I surely did.  Today was my bestie Delene, soon to be daughter in laws, bridal shower.  We all have such a GREAT time when we get together.

I made her this card with the help of Penny Duncan Creations Peony Petals .svg file (It is in the Flower section on her left side bar).  I used a center from a flower that I got at SVGCuts.com.  I had some Peony leaves left over from another project and wrapped floral tape around some candy sticks.  Tied it all together with a white ribbon to make look like a bouquet and adhered to card.  Wha-la!  :)

What do you think?  I was so happy with how it turned out.

CD Holders...

Hello friends...

Today I am sharing the CD holders I made for my besties "50th" birthday pictures from our wine tasting trip. I edited all the pics and downloaded them onto a CD for her and all the girls that came on the trip.  We still are talking about what a GREAT time we had.

Here is the one I made special for her:

I used the .svg file from Penny Duncan Creations under envelopes and then PDC CD Case.  :)

Using the same envelope I made these for all the girls.  Another nice after the party favor if you will.  Or can be a nice little Thank You gift.

A nice little keepsake of our wonderful day together.  What a GREAT group of friends.

2 more challenges for the price of one...

Hello again everyone ~

Today has been a very busy card making day for me.  Challenging as well, had to think out of my comfort zone on this one.  haha  This card took a bit of time and planning.  I am going to enter it into 2 different challenges.  One will be DYSU Challenge #6 - Ribbons and the other is Catch The Bug Challenge - Different Folds.

A little bit of background on this card is I used Penny Duncan Creations PDC Center Fold Card Layout you can find in her My Free Cut Files side bar under Cards.  I used the free Bugaboo Stamps digi Clyde.  (He was so much fun to color.)  I wove ribbon to create a background for my digi image.  And without further ado....here it is ~
