Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving Crafty Friends!

I hope you are all enjoying your families and/or friends today.  I have my whole family together this Thanksgiving and I am so excited about that.  :)  Family picture time!

I have so much to be thankful for this year even though it has definitely been a roller coaster ride of ups and downs.  I will remain strong for my family and we will get through those downs.  :)

Here is a card I made (the only one) for Thanksgiving this year.

Since we will be out of town for Thanksgiving, I didn't make any projects for the holiday this year.  :(  There were some items I wanted to make, but just skipped to Christmas instead.  :)

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Day!  Enjoy your loved ones.  I know I will.

Flashback......

Hello O Crafty Ones!

As I was decorating for Thanksgiving (what little items I have to decorate with) I came across last years paper projects that I made.  Thought I would dust them off and show them again (after all, my newer followers probably didn't catch it last year).  :)  I am not hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house this year, so probably won't do very much decorating.

All .svg's came from SVGCuts.com

CA Wednesday...

Hello my wonderful crafty friends!

As you know my wonderful friends and I have been trying to meet on Wednesdays (so far so good) to have a day full of crafty fun and this Wednesday was no exception.  We had been having a really hard week in our personal lives and this was a GREAT way to chat and have a little crafty therapy session.  :)

We didn't really have a theme this week, mostly we just worked on whatever holiday we wanted and used whatever new items we had received during the week, ahem - The {Stamps} of Life new release stamps we got Tuesday.  Yay!  Love this new set Penquins4Christmas.  Super cute.  Go check it out.  :)

Here are some of the wonderful cards we made...and I will try to let you know products that were used, if I know them.  :)

Melissa was our wonderful hostess this week, (darn, I mean *M) haha.  So I will start with her ~ Melissa gets her inspiration from The {Stamps} of Life Gallery.  There are a lot of fabulous cards over there, you should check it out.  :)

Wouldn't this make a lovely sympathy or male card?

Here are mine ~

Using the penguins4Christmas, I masked off his face
and used the pumpkin face pieces and bats from Thanks2Fall.
Trick or Treat is from spooky2scare.  Ann had
this super tiny little spider stamp that I used for his bowtie.  :)

Here I made a puffy spider with glitter paper.  I was
inspired by Tamara at
happy life crafty wife.  I thought it would
be perfect if it was gathering candy corn (instead of nasty bugs) hehe
The stamp sets used here are
web4us, spooky2scare and thanks2fall

Here is used thanks2fall stamp set
And a little bonus ~ from our young crafty girl Kaitlyn, who made this card for her teacher:

kids2love, extras4kids and type4background
Stinking cute, right?
This has inspired me to start and Auntie's Corner on my blog (when I have a chance to get it rolling) to post projects that my nieces do.  They are really talented young ladies.  :)

Whew, this was a long one.  I hope you enjoyed looking at the pics.  :)  We sure had a really GREAT time and forgot about our problems for a while.  :)

Thanksgiving Projects....check

Today I worked on my Thanksgiving projects.  Turkey Napkin Rings and Turkey Centerpiece.  Both are .svg files from www.SVGCuts.com. (There is a button to the right if you want to see what else they have.) The Turkey napkin rings are from the AUTUMN CUDDLY FRIENDS SVG COLLECTION and I just added 1" x 5" strip and formed a ring and glued them on top.  :)  The Turkey Centerpiece is from their THANKSGIVING DINNER SVG KIT.  I used my Cuttlebug and embossing folders for texture, swirly stamp with copper ink and shimmer mist.  I love how they turned out.  I can't wait to set up my Thanksgiving Dinner table.  :)

This I adjusted to 11.3" Width on all pieces.

I adjusted the height to 2.5" on all pieces.
Just for FYI if any of you are interested and have a Cricut or similar cutting machine...SVGCuts.com is having a Black Friday sale on their site for Sure Cuts A Lot 2 (SCAL2) for $35.00 + $10.00 gift card.  This is an awesome deal.  Please support them.  Again, their link is on the right of this page.  :)

I hope you like my little projects.  I would love to hear from you guys.  Please comment.
