Well here is a pic of my birthday girl with her cupcake stand:
Happy 20th Birthday Chelsea! |
Here it is...I only wish I would have used better contrasting colors so the letters showed up better. Oh well next time. :) I used my SCAL2 to cut the banner that I got from SKhedr Designs and just backed up with a strip of yellow paper and then layered circles on top with the letters. Font used is Cheri. Love this font but my paper color choices didn't do it justice. |
Hugs to you,
Very cute cupcake stand ~ the cupcakes look delicious! hope your daughter had great birthday!

lol that is so funny cheri is my favorite font too! I think this is a great idea,,, but i always have issues because my daughter and husband HATE cake! So I always have to try new things for their birthdays! I love SCAL2 I have it also!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the cupcake stand. The cupcakes look good too. Yum. TFS
ReplyDeleteLove the cupcake stand. My DD will be 14 on 4/10, & I am trying to come up with something. I don't have MTC, scal or Gypsy. I am new to this, just got Cricut for Christmas. But I was just downsized out of my job, so crafting supplies are very limited.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like the colors & love that font too!

Thanks for becoming a follower on my blog and thanks to Momo for helping us all find each other. I just love this cupcake stand. What a great idea. I think I may have to try something like it for my sister in law's baby shower!
ReplyDeleteLove the cupcake stand, i have awarded you the versitile blog award!!
ReplyDeletelooks awesome! Did you make the cupcake stand base out of cardboard? Is it sturdy, it looks fab!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lindsay. I got the cupcake stand base at Joann's in the cake section. It is made to decorate with your own paper designs and yes it is pretty sturdy. And I am going to get to reuse it. I didn't glue the papers to it just fit them snuggly around it. The cardboard in coated and I was able to wipe with damp cloth. :)
