Some changes for me..

Hello Crafty Friends!

Well my friends, in this ever changing world, I have found that I just keep neglecting my blog.  I have been working on setting up an Etsy store and various other Facebook online stores trying to sell my wares.  I have been doing a lot of jewelry making lately and trying to earn some money.  :)

With that being said you probably won't be seeing very many posts from me here anymore.  I am sure I may pop in now and again, but if you want to really catch up with me and see what I am up to come on over to my Facebook, Instagram and Etsy store and take a look.  I have provided links to the right and below also.

Come on over and follow me there if you like.  Would love to hear from you.

Hello Crafty Friends!

I am supposed to be beading on this rainy Friday.  Instead I woke up feeling like working on my birdhouse project.  :)

It started with these 2 cans.  I have been thinking of how
to make a tin roof.  Then it hit me this morning, aluminum cans.
I cut them up and ran them through my crimper.

I dry brushed this roof.

Bright and cheery with a tin roof.
This one I was most excited about.

This is my FAVE!  <3

Bugs First Birthday!

Hello Crafty Friends!

Bug is #1

Well the big #1 birthday party was a success!  My daughter and I had so much fun planning this party and making all the decor.  It was a Kate Spade inspired theme :).

Check out what we made!

I got the luxuryhandbagsvg file from  The DP In Bloom from My Minds Eye purchased from as well as the gold foil paper.

We put hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works, bubbles, sparkly pink nail polish and neon pink glow bracelets in the purses.  Boys got plain black bags with quads, bubbles and bracelets in neon green.  :)

Counting Blocks...

Hello Crafty Friends!

I LOVE to make counting blocks for any occasion.  Whether you're counting down for a special day or holiday, or up for those special milestones.  Here is a set made recently for a special little guys to match his nursery theme using Pebbles-Woodland Forest Collection I purchased from
This set is in Months and Years.  You can also do weeks/months or even days. Colors and themes are endless.

Hubby's Valentine card...

Hello Craft Friends!

Just a quick card for hubby.  This worked up fast using stamps and die cuts from one of my Card club kits from The Stamps of Life.  Stamped on the inside is All of me Loves All of you.  My husband dedicated this John Legend song to me when it first came out.  Kind of our theme.  Love him so much.  <3 <3 <3

I just purchased my first pack of water color paper and tried to do a water color look wash with my Momento pens and sprayed some water on a big Ziploc freezer bag then transferred to the paper.   Not exactly what I imagined it to be.  But I try not to let things go to waste.  Including the background papers.  ;)  (They were from an old bridal shower order and wedding scraps.) Besides...purple and green are my favorite colors. I will keep practicing.

Side note: I did clean it up after I saw the close of  the photo. ;)
I think I need stronger readers!  Noooo!!!  LOL!
Hope you had a wonderful day.

Valentines banner...

Hello Crafty Friends!

Made my first Valentine's banner.  I have been making banners lately for customers and thought I should make one for me. I don't really have much in the way of Valentine decor. (Really, I can't get to my boxes as they are stuffed way back in the closet since our son moved back home until he finishes more year! hehe)

I recently purchased a Sizzix Eclps2 with Bluetooth and Ecal2 software from SVGTools and I am LOVING IT!

I used Scalloped Shapes from SVGCuts and the Curlz font for the letters.  On the solid shapes I learned how to add the dash lines to look like stitches then used my white gel pen and Micro pen to create the stiches.  The arrow was from the shapes library in Ecal2

In addition to using regular solid color cardstock I also used pattern paper Love Story Collection and Me & You Collection (sorry no link for this one, must not be available yet) from TheStampsofLife.

Now I am off to make a Valentine for my granddaughter.  <3  Maybe even one for my hubby ;)  LOL!  Of course I will share...after Valentines Day.
