Valentines banner...

Hello Crafty Friends!

Made my first Valentine's banner.  I have been making banners lately for customers and thought I should make one for me. I don't really have much in the way of Valentine decor. (Really, I can't get to my boxes as they are stuffed way back in the closet since our son moved back home until he finishes college...one more year! hehe)

I recently purchased a Sizzix Eclps2 with Bluetooth and Ecal2 software from SVGTools and I am LOVING IT!

I used Scalloped Shapes from SVGCuts and the Curlz font for the letters.  On the solid shapes I learned how to add the dash lines to look like stitches then used my white gel pen and Micro pen to create the stiches.  The arrow was from the shapes library in Ecal2

In addition to using regular solid color cardstock I also used pattern paper Love Story Collection and Me & You Collection (sorry no link for this one, must not be available yet) from TheStampsofLife.

Now I am off to make a Valentine for my granddaughter.  <3  Maybe even one for my hubby ;)  LOL!  Of course I will share...after Valentines Day.

Happy Valentines Day Crafty Friends!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  <3

I have been looking to make one of these Tri Shutter cards for a long time.  I found this wonderful tutorial from Stamp & Scrap with Frenchie.  Now I am addicted.  I love interesting fold cards.

With both cards I used The {Stamps} of Life

Happy Valentines Day (and Easter?)...:)

Helloooo Crafty Friends!

Are you making last minute Valentines???  Yeah, me too.  LOL!

I just wanted to share a little project I made for Valentines Day.  I used the free owls svg file from SVGCuts.com.  I only changed it up a little bit by adding googly eyes and a heart for the beak.  I added to circle cut outs large enough to run a Valentines pencil through.  :)  Added the, Owl always love you sentiment by hand.  :)  I have a stamp, but thought the kinders would like to write their own sentiment.

I am going to move the heart up more in between the eyes.
And as you know, I have been on a pot painting frenzy for the last 2 weeks.  Now that I caught up on the special orders, I wanted to get back to making my own.  :)  I still have a 4th of July and Halloween in the works.  Here is the Easter one I finished today.  (I still have a few more items to add to it, just waiting for the craft stores to catch up stocking their shelves.)  LOL!

OK, that is it for me today.  Working in my friends Kindergarten class room tomorrow and then finishing up my GREAT nephews Lightening McQueen invitations.  Soooo cute!  Share with ya later.

Have a Happy Valentines Day!

More requests...

Helloooo My Crafty Friends!

Wow are these ever popular.  :)  Just when I think I am finished...LOL!  Here are some special requests...

This one was requested for her daughters room
to put her hair accessories in.
GREAT IDEA!!!!

Here is another Dallas Cowboy themed
one.  Additional stars were request
to cover the base.  :)

The felt hearts that I had been using are all
gone now.  So I made a vinyl heart
using SCAL2.
4 down and 4 to go.  :)

Until next time!

More Candy Jar Machines...

Helloooo My Crafty Friends!

I have to tell you...who would of thought these were such a big HIT!  Not me.  :)  Since last week when I first showed you I have made 10 and I have a few more to go.  LOL!  Well I am glad everyone likes them.

Here are the ones I have not shared with you yet...

I am currently redoing this one.  She wanted
more stars around the base.  I will
reshoot and show you it when
it is finished.  :)
For my mom

Nice background Terr.  LOL
Forgot to take pic of this one with
the nice camera.  Oops.
This is with my Iphone.
St. Patricks Day
(yeah, I am already planning ahead)

I am going to make one for every season.

OK, time to get back to work.  Making Lightening McQueen birthday invitations for my GREAT nephew's 2nd birthday.  They are sooooo cute.  :)

Until next time...

I found it!

Hellooo Crafty Friends!

I just wanted to pop in and say that I finally found where the Valentine Candy Jar project idea came from on Pinterest.  Originally when I found it, all I could get was the picture (which is what I went off of) but wanted to make sure I credited where it came from.  After some research (thanks Google) I was able to track it down.  Pinterest...I will figure you out someday.  LOL

Anyways, I tracked the pic down to Pamela Susans Blog and you can find her project here.  Thanks Pamela for the wonderful inspiration!  Hugs!

Here is mine finished (with the ribbon, that I forgot in the previous post)  LOL

I have 2 more on deck, and 2 to get started.  ( I hope I find some time tomorrow to hit up Home Depot for some more pots.)  Addicted!  LOL!

Have a GREAT Monday everyone!

Valentine Candy Machines....

Hellooo Crafty Friends!

For a couple of days now I have been working on these candy machines that I found over on Pinterest.  (Imagine that...I did mention my new addiction, right?)  LOL

They were pretty easy, if time consuming.  And really not that expensive.  Like me, you probably have most of these items in your stash.

Here we go...

I am not the greatest painter, so instead of painting on
a heart drop spout, I used a foam punched heart that
says I Love You.  Then I added more of the smaller
sized hearts around the base.
Pencil erasers make the BEST painted dots.  :)
This one is going to the school my daughter works at.
This one is for me.  :)  I was so excited to share that
I forgot to put on the ribbon. Der!  LOL

This is only the beginning.  I have several more to make.  I am going to make one for all the holidays.  I will share when I get them done.
