Dolly and Me Tea Party

Hello Crafty Friends!

I was so excited to create this wonderful Tea Party invitation and thank you card set.  I love when something in my brain actually turns out to be what I visualized.

I found the free tea pot line art at Sweet Clip Art and the tea cup came from ScrappinbyKris

Crafty Tip:

Here is my little cheat.  I create the image I want in SCAL2,
line it up for an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper, cut it out, then line the paper
up on my monitor screen and line up the text.
It probably isn't the best method or the fastest, but
it is what works for me.  LOL!

More baby showers and catching up...

Hello Crafty Friends!!!

Going to play catch up today.  It's raining (so pulling weeds is totally out of the question, right?!)  LOL! Thought I would update the old blog.  Lot's to share, so as usual I will break it down throughout the next few days!  I'm pretty sure all of these events have passed so I can share them now.  :)

My friend Nicole always has wonderful crafty projects for me (I'm her go to gal) ;)  She gives me color selections and a theme and I get to be creative with it.  So much fun!!!!  I love this color scheme for a gender neutral baby shower.  Here was my take on clouds and raindrops.

Here are the invites I created

Sorry for the dark lighting.  Need to get the camera fixed.

Here is a shot of it hung up at the shower.

I hear this game was quite the hit!! LOL!
A huge Thank You to Baelee Michelle Photography for letting me use the pics from the shower to share with you all.  Check out her blog at Print {Pockets} & Pumps she has some more wonderful baby shower ideas. I especially love the baby reveal part.  GREAT IDEA!!!

Our Anniversary

Hello Crafty Friends!

April 5th was our 28th wedding anniversary.  We spend a lovely weekend in the beautiful Monterey Bay area.  I love our beautiful coastline.  The coastal drive from Half Moon Bay down to Carmel is gorgeous and we had perfect weather.

I love this picture of the lone cypress tree on 17 mile drive.  Way back when I was
young a great uncle of mine who was an artist painted this
tree as a mural on my grandparents living room wall.  I always
thought it was so cool!
Here is a cute little card I made my hubby.  I couldn't wait to get this stamp set from The Stamps of Life because for the few weeks previous and up to our anniversary we had joked about going together like (blank) and (blank).  (You can fill in the blanks.) I kept saying Peanut butter and jelly.  Well then I saw the stamp set we were getting were about peanut butter and jelly and couldn't wait to get it to make this card. LOL!  Literally got it the day before we left.

pb&j2enjoy and the matching die set.
I masked the sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed my share today.  Until next time...
