Office Craft room/Office Chair makeover with ASCP...

Hello Crafty Friends!!

It's a gloomy rainy day here today.  Woke up at 4am to thunder and lightening.  A while later, huge downpour.  Not complaining, we need the water here in CA, but I was enjoying working outside these last few days.  :)  Oh, well.  Got me to finish my office chair.

I'm really missing my old craft room.  Haven't gotten the new one together yet as we always have something else to work on first.  Ugh!!  (Maybe next month.  ;) LOL!)  I loved the color in the old craft room, it was called Green Tea and it is a very soothing yet help me be creative color.  Recently I found this fabric at Walmart and it became the inspiration for the new craft room/office.  I won't be able to paint my walls here (as they are already painted and the craft room/office is part of the main area of the great room in the new house) but I can bring in that Green Tea color in fabric and accessories I love so much.

Reorganizing the craft room...

Hello Crafty Friends!

Once again I re-organized the craft room.  I spend a lot of time in my craft room and well...it was just time to move some things around that made more sense to how I utilize this space.  Also getting rid of crap things that I thought I would use some day just seem to be sitting there collecting dust.  So I came to the realization if I haven't used it in over 2 years, then it is time to go.  :)  Plus it makes room for "more crap", I mean crafty stuff.  LOL!

Yikes!  Before...you should have seen the crap stuff flowing out of the
closet.  Eek!

New ribbon organization.  Let's see how long
this lasts...hehe!

Next purchase is a nice long book shelf system from
Ikea and a flat screen tv for this wall.

 I'm not kidding,

there was so much stuff

flowing out of this closet I 

could never get into it.  

Now it is nice and organized.  

For now...

This side got spruced up and dusted, but pretty
much stayed the same.  

Oh and most importantly, I got all my 
The {Stamps} of Life
stamp sets organized
in there binders.  

I am so excited for the chilly weather to be here.  I am getting so much cleaned up around here.  Next is my sons room...turning it into a movie/gaming room where he and all his friends can hang out.  After our middle daughter moved out a few months ago he has been sleeping in there.  A much comfier bed.  Boys!!

Craftroom cleaned...check!

Hello my crafty friends!

Just thought I would share some before and after pics of my crap craft room.  LOL  I can't believe I let it get so messy.  Ugh!  Well that is what happens when you get "lifeinteruptus" (it's latin, hehe)

I used to have it set up with different station areas, sewing, beading and paper crafting.  I have come to realize that I am mostly paper crafting so I put the others in the closet for now and will pull it out the other items when needed.  Now I have better access to all my paper crafting tools and supplies.

As you can see, I am still waiting to be able to afford my IKEA dream work tables and cabinets, but it is what I have for now so I will make do.

I guess I should give fair warning that it is still not completely done - ribbon and paper areas still need to be organized.  (That just might be a rainy day project) ;)  Oh yeah, and ignore the ugly carpet stains!  My son and his friend usually play Wii in there and spilled soda all over, gross!
