I made these little beauties for my Best friends soon to be daughter-in-law's bridal shower.
This was a little tricky for me but I managed to figure out a way to print with my printer and cut with my cutting machine using an .svg file I found here at SVG Place. This is a beautiful file by Loni Harris. I used the dressform.svg file and resized to fit the information. I embossed the bodice with the Victorian embossing folder. I wrapped tulle (a 10" circle folded in half) and tied around the waste with ribbon. I used all the colors of the wedding.
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteHow were you a able to get the words on the cutout?
ReplyDeleteFirst I cut out 2 dresses side by side on 8.5x11 card stock for a template and then I used Word to line up the invitation information. I printed it out and then layered the template over it to see if it centered. Then I continues to fiddle with it until it would line up where I wanted it. Took some time but eventually got it centered for both dresses. Print it out on card stock and then run it through the cutting machine. I hope this makes sense. You can email me at myneed2craft@gmail.com if you have more questions. :)
