Helloooo Crafty Friends!

I am a little behind the times apparently.  I sort of remember getting an email about the Google Friends Connect shutting down, but didn't think it pertained to me.  (Not sure if it does or not???)  I really don't understand all the technical mumbo jumbo and frankly, don't want to.  :)  I just want to make sure that all my followers are able to receive my blog posts or new followers are able to follow me.  I am sure I need to do something with Google+ as well, but so far haven't completely figured that one out either???  Why can't anything be easy???

Anyhow, I did notice that some blogs have added the Bloglovin feature for non-blogger sites so I thought, better to be safe than sorry for my followers who don't have blogger.  If you are one of the non-blogger followers, I have added a Bloglovin link to the left in my side bar above the GFC link, so please be sure to follow me over there so you can still see what I am up to in my CRAZY CRAFTY LIFE!  :)  I know you don't want to miss a thing!  LOL!  Apparently this goes into effect March 1, so I hope you get this before then.  You can still always follow me on facebook.  That link is on the left side bar as well.

I hit the 100 followers mark over at facebook this weekend, which I am thrilled about.  I plan to do something, but will have to see how the budget is next week.  (You know how that goes...)

I guess I will know after March 1 how many followers I will have lost from this change by Google.  This really saddens me.  I will miss you my friends that aren't able to make the changeover, I hope that you are able to follow me at Bloglovin or facebook.

Today's birthday card for my super special SIL and instead of putting a sentiment on the front I just let the paper make the statement.  :)

I can't tell you how much I love my sister in law.  She is quite the character and sooo much fun to hang out with.  Love Love Love her!  Today she is "65"!!!  I want to be just like her when I am 65 I tell ya.  She is sooo active and enjoying her retirement.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL!

We go to Street Vibrations in Reno every year and have a BLAST!  She loves her Harleys!  My husband takes her on the Virginia City run while we are there.  She loves it!

21st birthday invitation ideas anyone?

My middle daughter is turning 21 next month and I need some invitation wording ideas. Help! LOL

We have color combination already and the theme is casino night. Texas Hold'em and Blackjack specially.

Helloooo My Crafty Friends!

Just thought I would pop in to say Helloooooo!  I have been super busy this week and haven't had time to post.  Now here it is a Friday night and the kids are all out, hubby is in bed (he has to work tomorrow :( ) and I am about to catch up on my DVR.

I kid you not I have been working on projects all week long.  (And actually making a little money at it.)  Yay!

This week was also our dooms day...da da dommmm...tax appt.  Yikes!  I get so nervous because usually it isn't anything good.  Well I am happy to say it wasn't that bad.  We actually don't have to pay this year.  Woo Hoo! Of course it helped (for tax purposes only) that I no longer work, doesn't help the pocket book so much, but we have worked through all that.  Lot's of sacrifices in the last few months, but you know...I really can learn to live without most of the extra's, and so far it has been just fine.  We still have the roof over our head so that is definitely a plus.

I hope you all have a very wonderful weekend.  I have 2 more projects to complete tomorrow and then I am taking Sunday off!  :)

Are you making last minute Valentines???  Yeah, me too.  LOL!

I just wanted to share a little project I made for Valentines Day.  I used the free owls svg file from SVGCuts.com.  I only changed it up a little bit by adding googly eyes and a heart for the beak.  I added to circle cut outs large enough to run a Valentines pencil through.  :)  Added the, Owl always love you sentiment by hand.  :)  I have a stamp, but thought the kinders would like to write their own sentiment.

I am going to move the heart up more in between the eyes.

And as you know, I have been on a pot painting frenzy for the last 2 weeks.  Now that I caught up on the special orders, I wanted to get back to making my own.  :)  I still have a 4th of July and Halloween in the works.  Here is the Easter one I finished today.  (I still have a few more items to add to it, just waiting for the craft stores to catch up stocking their shelves.)  LOL!

OK, that is it for me today.  Working in my friends Kindergarten class room tomorrow and then finishing up my GREAT nephews Lightening McQueen invitations.  Soooo cute!  Share with ya later.

I just wanted to pop in and say that I finally found where the Valentine Candy Jar project idea came from on Pinterest.  Originally when I found it, all I could get was the picture (which is what I went off of) but wanted to make sure I credited where it came from.  After some research (thanks Google) I was able to track it down.  Pinterest...I will figure you out someday.  LOL

Anyways, I tracked the pic down to Pamela Susans Blog and you can find her project here.  Thanks Pamela for the wonderful inspiration!  Hugs!
