Can I get a little blogger/blogging help please Crafty Friends?

Hello Crafty Friends!

I need a little help.  I know I haven't posted very frequently on my blog these last few months (and boy is my picture file piling up), and I have noticed that recently there have been some changes to my blogger page that I wasn't aware of (or made) that have been happening.  One being that I haven't heard from anyone in soooo long (ie-comments) and wondered where everyone had gone and noticed my followers gadget is all gone.  I notice that some of you no longer have it either.  How do you get followers now?

Are you still out there?  Is Blogger completely gone to Google+???  Is everyone using Google+, should I add that to my gadgets?  Have you switched to WordPress now?  Or do you just Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook etc.??

I'm so confused and am usually on top of all this, but life has been crazy busy this year and I have totally slacked off.

Would love to here from you all.  I have been following you all via Feedly or Bloglovin. (Do you do that too?)

Hello Crafty Friends!

I have been MIA for quite sometime again.  Sometimes my life is not my own.  LOL  Wow, do I have a lot of catching up to do.  Think I will start with a few updates to spread through out the next few days.  How's that?  Don't want to overwhelm anyone.  Plus, this computer (the last working one in the house) is giving me the fits today.  Ugh!  Figures.

Let's see...where to start.   I think I will go back a few months and work up from there. Let's see what is in my blog wait list file...

How about Jessie's and Jesus's wedding in October at the beautiful Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Creek, CA?  

 Here are the invitations I made for them.  The color was Fuchsia, didn't show up so well in the pics though.  

My son cut out all 400 little teeny birds for me.
(Well for $20, haha)

This summer was filled with loads of fun and exciting events!  Here is a card I made for Jessica for her Bridal Shower and the invitations I made.  (Wait til you see the wedding invites I made for her.)  ;)

Both cards were used with WPlus9 Design Studio's Lovebirds stamp set and dies.

Paper is from paper and more! in Classic White, Cherry Red, Cotton Candy and Cornflower Blue

I really like this paper company.  It works well with my Copic Markers too!  I used 100# in my project, but they do have a 70# that would work for layering paper.  The 100# makes a great card base.

Well, we are back to school in our neck of the woods.  My baby has started his senior year!!  WHAT?!?!  I know right???  Eeek!  He is excited for this year.  I have somewhat mixed emotions.  LOL!

We had such a wonderful busy summer and when we weren't busy "vacationing", I did lot's of projects Here is one I did for my friends dad surprise party 75th birthday party.  She loved the invitations I made for my hubby's 50th so I came up with this.  Bob loves hunting and most especially fishing.  We had sooooo much fun!!!!

Got to love those flip its dies.  :)

I made this card for our friend that hosts us every year on her houseboat for our annual girls get together to kick off the summer season.  Thanks again Mel for a wonderful, fun filled weekend. Oh the memories...LOL!  ;)

I'll try to remember which stamp sets I used. Of course they are all The {Stamps} of Life.  I made it at the beginning of summer.  :)

My niece's 14th Bday...

Yesterday was my niece's 14th Bday!!!  Wow!  Time is sure flying!  Here is a little card I made her...

A little guitar...

My nephew turned 18 in June!!!  Where has the time gone???

I made him this little guitar card from an idea I saw on Pinterest.  (I know, imagine that??)  I can't help myself.  LOL!  If you click on the link "idea" you can get more information.  :)  I went to that site then on to Google images and then and then....  There are lot's of ideas out there.  Here is what I came up with.  I found the template here.  I changed it up a little bit for the look I was going for and the size.  :)

My nephew and son started playing guitar in 7th (Brady) 8th (Jared) grade.  We had a wonderful young man named Josh who was a great guitarist and guitar teacher who was still in high school himself at the time. Needless to say both my nephew and son are still avid guitarists in their own rights and owe it all to Josh.  I could listen to them play all day.

Hello Crafty Friends!!  

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. I've been busy with loads of wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, birthday, etc etc invitations projects. 

One of the things I've been missing is my laptop and all of my svg and digi files. You don't know how much you use them until you can't get to them. UGH!  My laptop has been down a few months now. 

Fortunately my son had an idea and luckily it worked!  Yay!  He took the hard drive from the laptop and hooked it up to the pc and got ALL my files and saved projects up and saved to my external hard drive. I'm soooo happy. What a smart kid. :) while we were at it we did all of our pics and music too. 

Now I'm going to go through and reminisce. Haha!

Here is a cute little bridal shower invitation I made for a friend using the WPlus9 stamp set Love Bird and Love Birds die.  The whole theme was Love Birds.  Super cute!  (The wedding announcements are lovebirds too!  I'll be sharing those with you later in the month.)  ;)

I totally forgot to post this Mother's Day card I made, you know, back on Mother's Day!!  Duh!  I just came across the pic.  I told you it has been crazy busy around her this year.  LOL!

A rose for my mom.  :)

I did that technique, you know the one...where you cut out the flower stamp and lay it on your cardstock and stamp on top of it with the wording stamp.  You know so it looks like one stamp.  LOL!  It is really late and I am having one of  "THOSE" nights!  Ugh!  I know there is a technical term, but for the life of me I can't remember it.  LOL!  Someone help me out here please.  HA HA!

Well at least I did give it to my mom before Mother's Day.  :)

Chelsea's Graduation!

Hello My Crafty Friends!!!

We have our very first college graduate.  We are so proud of our daughter Chelsea.  She has worked really hard these last 4 years.  She has matured into one wonderful young woman.   :)  We are so proud of her!!!! She is going to continue on her journey and get her Master's degree this fall.  So in 2 more years we will have another celebration.  Yay!!

Here is a card I made for her that I got the idea from, you guessed it, Pinterest.  You can find it here at Hero Arts  Super easy to make.  And I just so happened to have just got that stamp set.  :)  I had 4 graduation/promotions in one week, whew it was a busy week.  LOL!

Congratulations Chelsea!  We love you and are so very proud of you!!
