Refurbished Wreath...

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I am going to share my wreath that I refurbished this past weekend.  I took my old (very plain) wreath and added a lot of doo dads and came up with this.  Looks much better I think, how about you?  :)

Even though it was so plain it did have battery operated
lights.  They were broken, so they were removed.  :)

I added some netting, wrapped a metallic green ribbon around,
added some Poinsettia's, pine cone with berry pics and an
old snowman welcome sign I have had for years
and Wha La!  A refreshed wreath.  :)

Hello My Crafty Friends!

This past Saturday I had a crafty day at my house with my mom, sister, nieces and daughter.  We had a wonderful time catching up and planning our baking schedule (next weekend, can't wait) hehe.

My sister didn't bring a project, so she organized my Christmas ribbon box.  Let me tell you, there was tons of ribbon in there, and don't get me started about all the glitter that is all over the front room...LOL!  We were quite sparkly that day.  hehe  (Thank you sis, you are the BEST).  Now can you work on the other pile of ribbon is the craft room???  Please???  haha

I'll break this down into 2 separate posts as I want to share what my mom made.  She is so crafty, and you can see where I get it from.  :)

She made these beautiful napkin rings for her Christmas dinner table (I am going to make place cards soon, I promise mom).  She made them from those big snap grommet rings for your curtains.  I'll include a picture of them for you.  They were easy to make (minus a few hot glue gun burns, you know how that is, right?)  hehe

These were the rings she used.  I would have got a before
shot, but she had pre-ribboned them before
she came over.  

Here they are wrapped with ribbon and hot glued
together.

She had a variety of pics in all colors.

My sister and I are fight over this one.  haha

She took the pics apart and hot glued the pieces in new
arrangements on the center of the ring.
Beautiful right? :)

Another easy Christmas Card...

Since yesterdays card was so easy and I really need to get my cards done and in the mail I massed produced a bunch more.  Same ideas, just a little different.  I embossed the background with Swiss dots embossing folder.

Easy Christmas Cards...

Hello My Friends!

Here is another easy Christmas card using scraps, The {Stamps} of Life stamp set Christmas2build and ink.  :)
Pretty easy huh?  I thought it turned out really cute if I may say so myself.  :)  It was easy and I was able to mass produce a bunch of them.  (Good think, because I am running out of time...I can't believe I missed my own deadline, ugh!)  haha  I won't be to hard on myself.  :)

Inking around the edges really softened it
up.  I left the inside blank to write a personal message.

Here is a really easy card, just a little stamping with my The {Stamps} of Life stamp set Christmas2build. ( I have so many plans for this set.  I can't shut of my brain.  LOL!), my swirls embossing folder and some blue ribbon.  :)

Hello Crafty Friends!

Well I was quite productive today.  Made lot's of cards, yay me!, but not enough, ugh!  I am going to start addressing envelopes tonight and see just how many I really need to get done for the mail (I really wanted to have them out by today...but you know how life is, always getting in the way).  LOL

I have a big weekend coming up with my CA friends (you might remember our CA Wednesday Posts).  We are going to craft our little hearts out on Saturday and try to catch up on Christmas projects.  You know I will take pics and share with you all.  :)

I was so inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.com, that I just had to make  a version of it.  Gotta love Pinterest!

Oh yeah, and here is your reminder that there is
only 23 days left until Christmas, eek!

Finally I used these little felt Poinsettia's that I have had for eons.

Paper Ball Ornament...

Hello Crafty Friends!

I have been looking for the pattern to this ornament for quite some time, I had no idea what it was called.  :)  Then today I found this blog post over at the The Hybrid Chick and had to make it.  Head on over there and learn how to make it.  :)

There are so many ways to embellish
this ornament.  I added little pearls in each
center.  I think it gives it a Victorian feel
with the paper I had.

Now I am back to making cards.  I am already a day late on my self imposed deadline.  Grrrr.  LOL!
