Finally this cold is almost gone...

Hello everyone!

Well, I finally am over this nasty cold (I hope, fingers crossed).  Some have told me it may come back again, but I am choosing to ignore them.  LOL!

Went to my friend Ann's house yesterday and checked out her new craft studio...AWESOME!!  She wins for most supplies of every sort.  haha.  She showed me how to play with acrylic and Tim Holtz alcohols.  Way cool.  I showed her what I have learned so far in Copic markers.  And of course we chatted like crazy and had a great time.  We went to Chevy's for lunch and then hit 'MICHAELS'  :)  They had a $1.00 bin full of ribbons, and yes, we bought a ton.

Since I was feeling even better today, I went to Zumba (trying to get back into my meal plan and exercise regimen), and of course hit my favorite store Stamper's Corner (right across the street, how convenient) to buy some more Copic's to add to my collection and get my ATG gun.  (They honored my Joann'es 40% off coupon as long as I purchased $25.00 worth of non sale merchandise.)  Hello, not hard for me to do especially with my Copic addiction.  hehe  I am so excited to try this out.

Got somewhat of a busy weekend ahead, but I got all my digi's printed out tonight so I can get them all colored and entered into some challenges this weekend.  Or by at least Monday for sure.

No craft pics today, but came across some cute pics of my girls when they were pups.  Can you see why I had to have 2.

Scraps and things...

Hello followers,

Today I wanted to get rid of a few leftover papers.  I had been thinking about weaving some scraps and then, well, didn't know what to do after that.  :)  So today I just started winging it and came up with this little valentine I could give to one of my loved ones.  (Can't say "who" yet.)  hehe

And then I came across these little gift bag boxes in my stash and thought I really should make a little gifty for my little ones (nieces and nephews).  I saw something similar on one of the blogs I was reading today (and I apologize for not acknowledging who, if anyone knows please let me know, I went back through my reader and couldn't find it, sorry.)  and thought I could decorate and put a few little goodies in them.

Todays project...

Hi friends,

Today my sister asked me to make a card for her for a co-worker and of course I said yes.  What better way to get your work noticed, right?  :)

I have been wanting to get back into paper flowers and lattice cards that I was totally inspired by Valita's Designs & Fresh Folds.  She has some fabulous ideas and great videos.  Check her out.  I also get lot's of inspiration from Penny Duncan Creations.  She has some awesome flower .svg's as well as great tutorials.

So since I am still under the weather, I decided to stay in and cut a bunch of flowers (now I have a huge supply) and make a card.  :)  Yay me!

CDAC challenges...

Hello everyone,

Today I worked on these 2 cards for challenges I entered at CDAC.

This one is for Holiday/Special Occasion Challenge - cdachsoc16.  I made it for my sister who's birthday is tomorrow.  :)

And this one I entered into the Embellishment Challenge – cdacec16.

Now back to the drawing board.  I have a few more I want to work on tonight and hopefully get finished up in the morning.

Day 2 of this nasty head cold and I am told it will be here a while.  :(  Not fun!  It is finally sunny outside and I am too tired to go out and do anything.
