Baby Shower card...

Hello my crafty friends...

Today I am sharing a baby shower card I made.  I used just the Rocking Horse from the Rocking Horse bag in the Bundle of Joy svg kit from SVGCuts.com.  I textured some of the pieces with embossing folders.

Happy Birthday Dad

Hello friends!

This weekend was my dad's 69th birthday.  We took him to Joe's Crab Shack.  If you haven't been, you really should.  The food and cocktails are amazing and the staff are hysterical.  Especially if it is your birthday. I have been to 3 different Joe's here in CA and the one here in Sacramento has been the best so far.  :)

Here is the card I made for him:

I really wasn't quite sure where I was going with this card.  I have wanted to try to make an award ribbon for a while, then silly me, glued it to the card without putting all the background paper I had cut out.  LOL  So I used random The {Stamps} of Life word stamps from all the different ones I have and created a background.  :)  Who says you have to have a plan.  haha

Experiencing technical difficulties.....AGAIN!

Hello friends!

Experiencing technical difficulties "AGAIN". Grrr! Our hard drive is going to die. :( We are backing up everything and will need to get a new one. (Hoping I can just get a new computer) ;) So no crafting today like planned. I am soooo bummed. I really need my printer and I can't hook up my laptop to it. Ugh! (Maybe I can get a new printer too...wireless???) Hmmmmm.......


I did have a late night last night and played around with making a new signature.  It worked, but not sure if I am going to keep it.  I think it may be a little too whimsical for me.  But it was fun learning.  hehe

Wedding invitations for Kristine and Ryan

Hello friends!

I am so happy to share with you today a wedding invitation that I recreated for my besties son's wedding.  Recreated as in, they just needed a few more invites and well, you know you can't just ever order a few of something.  So I was only too happy to help them out.  It's what we crafty folks do right?  LOL

I am so excited about how they turned out.  I really enjoyed making these.

I also made a few response cards, but didn't get pictures before I wrapped them all up.

Now off to make their wedding favors projects.  :)

Plus a baby gift card holder and dad's birthday card.  What a busy day today.  :)

Operation Write Home and The Stamps of Life

Hello friends!

This week I had another OWH cardmaking get together with my CA gals.  As we are all club members of The Stamps of Life I wanted us to only use these stamps.  We love them so much and Stephanie Barnard is truly talented.  Here are some of the wonderful cards we made that we will be sending out really soon to Operation Write Home.  I think we should get some Christmas cards together and then ship out the box.  I will see what my CA gals want to do.  There is still room in that box.  LOL

I am so crushed that my PC has decided today to be really difficult.  I can't get it to read my drives correctly so that I can download all the fabulous pics of all the wonderful projects that have been going on over here.  UGH!!!!  Hopefully, I will get it working and have something ready for tonight to get posted.

Excited for tomorrow...

Hello friends!

Well if you are like me, your child is back in school this week.  Woo Hoo!  :)  We really did have a GREAT summer, but I really missed crafting.  Starting tomorrow my hubby is back to work too.  His vacation is over as well.

Soooo, I am having my CA (crafter's anonymous) friends over for breakfast/lunch to work on finishing off that OWH box of cards that we started a few months ago. I really want to get it out in the mail.   I am so excited to get together with this great group of crafty friends.

We are going to use only The Stamps of Life stamps.  We all joined and are members, and some of us, Melissa, went above and beyond and has gotten a lot more of the stamps.  hehe.  We really love them and Stephanie Barnard!  She cracks us up.  We really aren't stalkers or anything LOL!  We were fortunate to meet her at one of the expo's this year and she was just as nice in person.  So was her hubby.  :)

If you haven't seen her stamps, be sure to check it out.  There is something for everyone.  :)

Well, I am off to finish cleaning and set up for tomorrow.  We are playing while the kids are in school.  hehe

Almost 200 followers...:)

Hello Everyone....

I just love this little guy from my moms garden.  :)  It's how I
felt all weekend.  LOL

I am almost to "200 Followers!"  YAY!  9 to go!  I think I will have to do a 200 Follower Give-A-Way.

So as soon as I get the 200th follower, I will post for chance to win a $20.00 Joann's Gift Card.  There will be some stipulations ( I will work on those ), but it will be fun and easy.  :)

Taylor birthday card...

Hello friends...

Today's card is the one I made for my niece Taylor for her 12th birthday.  We celebrated at Disneyland.  The end of the best month ever.  :)  We had so much fun.  We took her to Joe's Crab Shack for a multiple birthday dinner.

This trip was also in celebration of my niece Kylie's recovery from leukemia, my parents wedding anniversary, my brother in law's birthday, his cousin and aunts birthday.
