OWH Luncheon Pics...

Hello friends...

Here are the pics from our First Operation Write Home luncheon.  By the end of the day we had made 43 cards.  Didn't quite fill up the box, so I will be working on more today and some of my friends and family are coming back on Monday to make some more.  :)  Spring break and the kids are out of school.  So that should be fun.  :)

Before (Setting up)

Gotta have crafting candy.  hehe

Everyone working hard.  :)
My niece Taylor, great job!
My niece Kylie (She loves Tinkerbell)  :)
My Kaitlyn (I am stealing her away from her mom.)
Shhh..Don't tell her mom.  LOL
My daughter Chelsea (Mom to my oldest granddogs and grandkitten)
She says she is sure their are soldiers who love their dogs too
and would want to send them a card.  :)
My friend Ann
What a hoot you are my friend.
Hysterical.  LOL
(and she talks to herself, it's ok as long as she
doesn't answer herself)  LOL!

Ann's cards

I wouldn't let her leave.  I kept challenging her to 5 minute cards.  Haha!
My Bestie Melissa.  She recently joined
The Stamps of Life
with me.  We love those stamps.  :)  I am sending her
cards into the gallery over there also.
My sister's cards

My mom's cards
Somehow my mother and sister managed to leave without getting their
pictures taken.  Sneaky.  I will get you my pretties.
LOL!
This is only my mom's second time and my sisters first time making cards. Pretty awesome.   They do a lot
of other crafting.
My contribution.

We made multiples of most of these cards.

Well, I hope the OWH folks and our troops will like our little contribution.  We sure are GRATEFUL for what they do for us.

Big Hugs,

  1. This sounds like so much fun. I don't have any crafting friends around me to do stuff like this, so you're lucky.
All the cards turned out really pretty. Y'all had fun and were very productive too. That's quite an accomplishment.

  3. Such a great idea and some really wonderful cards. I agree that there are probably some dog lovers that will appreciate the dog cards.

  5. Even though I didn't want to have my picture taken, I have to say all the pictures turned out great! It was a fun day and I can't wait to do it again. And yes, it's true, I DO talk to mysel. But Terri failed to mention: SHE DOES, TOO! :) Thank you my friend. You are a good, good person.

  7. Terri,

Wow... what a great OWH Cardmaking Party. All of those cards are awesome.

Your daugher's card reminded me of a soldier who wrote a thank you note to the OWH for a card with a dog's image since he missed his dog very much.

Your blog is full of inspirations. Thanks for sharing your crafty talents. Thanks for finding me!
