The "Cupcake Stand"...

Hello everyone...

Well here is a pic of my birthday girl with her cupcake stand:

Happy 20th Birthday Chelsea!

Here it is...I only wish I would have used
better contrasting colors so the letters
showed up better.  Oh well next time. :)
I used my SCAL2 to cut the banner that I got from
SKhedr Designs and just backed up with
a strip of yellow paper and then layered circles on top
with the letters.  Font used is Cheri.  Love this font
but my paper color choices didn't do it justice.

Hugs to you,

  5. Love the cupcake stand. My DD will be 14 on 4/10, & I am trying to come up with something. I don't have MTC, scal or Gypsy. I am new to this, just got Cricut for Christmas. But I was just downsized out of my job, so crafting supplies are very limited.
Personally, I like the colors & love that font too!

  18. looks awesome! Did you make the cupcake stand base out of cardboard? Is it sturdy, it looks fab!

  19. Thank you Lindsay. I got the cupcake stand base at Joann's in the cake section. It is made to decorate with your own paper designs and yes it is pretty sturdy. And I am going to get to reuse it. I didn't glue the papers to it just fit them snuggly around it. The cardboard in coated and I was able to wipe with damp cloth. :)
